Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), Mr Yofi Grant has urged Ghanaian entrepreneurs and businesses to take advantage of the upcoming edition of the China Trade Week Ghana (CTW) to link various Chinese exhibitors looking for trade opportunities in Ghana in order to expand their businesses.
According to him, given that China is currently Ghana’s largest trading partner and also the biggest investor in the number of investments on the globe, an exhibition such as the CTW is very important for Ghanaian businesses to learn on the spot and find partners they can use to manufacture and create trade links.
At a press conference yesterday to launch the CTW, Mr Grant reiterated that his outfit was determined to ensure that businesses, start-ups and the youth take advantage of the opportunities in the sector.
Ghana will host the third consecutive edition of the annual CTW Ghana tradeshow from June 19 - 21, 2019 at the Accra International Conference Centre, for which about 700 companies are expected to participate.
This year’s exhibition will showcase more variety and high-end Chinese manufacturers looking to develop long-term relations with local buyers.
